Trunk guards very effective at protecting lip. However adhesive tape is very poor quality. I might replace with commercial double sided tape.
do not even need to use the double sided tape. 1 side slips into the rubber seal and the other end slip into the plastic boot mat
Although it hides the aesthetic appeal of the chrome parts, it provides effective and useful protection for the boot sill.

Have not permanently installed yet but didn’t a test fit without removing the supplied adhesive and it fits like a glove, now I know why it’s called TopBYD because everything is top quality!
