Trunk LED Light Strips for BYD

J'avais un peur pour l'installation, mais ce fut très facile !
La bande led est découpable au sciseaux au niveau des petites marques.
J'avais pour ma Seal 20 cm de trop.
Au top très qualitatif

Easy to install with the video, which you have to find yourself on Youtube. It would have been nice if a link to the installation video was included or available on the TOP Byd website.

The led strip itself was 10cm too long, but you can just use a pair of scissors and cut it at the right length.

The tool to remove the trunk light is too weak. It is set very tightly in the side panel, and the plastic removal tool just bent without removing the light. I had to use my steel tools to remove it properly (there are clips in the short sides of the light the fit very tightly, that's where you have to apply some force). A tool to guide the power cable behind the panel was missing in the box, but some steel wire I had did the job.

The led light itself is very nice and a great addition to the very small and weak light that is inside the trunk.

Es bastante sencillo de instalar. Se tarda un poco más en encontrar el cable de conexión, hay que tener paciencia.

the length of the stripwas sufficient to go all around the trunk lip of my BYD Sealion 7 and it looks good!

installation is easier from the left hand side service cover - pop it open - find the LED trunk light connect the wire for the LED trunk strip, thread the wire to the back, replace the service cover, connect the LED strip

The first set of plugs didn't fit my car model, but after writing to support I got a different cable send and have finished the installation.

The LED light strip arrived within a couple of weeks and the pack contained everything I needed to fit the light strip, even the tape and wire to get the LED connector to where the power supply ends at the interior light.
Installation was simple, even for me, who is usually inept at such things. I had to cut off a short length of the LED strip to avoid an overlap, but you can cut it where you like with a pair of scissors.
It wasn't until I was doing this job that I discovered the existing interior light is in fact a halogen bulb. I was expecting an LED. So, be careful - don't touch it as it gets hot and grease from fingers can cause that bulb to blow prematurely.
Also, once I'd hooked it all up, neither the interior light, nor the new LED strip worked. The car had gone into standby. Just switch the car on again and it all comes back to life. I thought at the time that I'd blown a fuse!
The result is an impressive, bright white glow, which will help when loading the boot in the dark.

Ja passet nesten 100% jeg er nøye så kunne hatt den 1-2cm kortere , alt man trenger fulgte med og jeg er fornøyd

Ordered specifically for Sealion 7 and installed the light strip according to the instructions.
Even so the light strip was about 15 cm too short to make a continuous light all around the trunk opening.

Replaced light strip with new supplied by TOP BYD LTD. The supplied light strip had the correct length after I informed them of the length measured on my own vehicle.
