Unfortunately, the connector in my car did not fit this camera. It can be seen in the photos. Nevertheless, the responsibility is mine, I should have checked it before purchasing.

I bought this camera for my Atto3 facelift premium variant car 2 months ago. As per youtube videos, the connecting cable should be present in the area behind the IRVM. But it was not there. So, did not do the installation. When I went for my car service yesterday, I mentioned my problem to them. They said the cable is present but is inside the roofing panel. The technician unscrewed the IRVM, the light panel and managed to get the cable out( needs expertise, should be done by a professional). Once it was done, connecting the dashcam was a breeze and I did it myself at home. The dashcam is working well.
So, for the BYD Atto 3 facelift owners, the connecting cable is present in the new car in all 3 variants. But to get the cable out from its position needs professional expertise.
No need to buy the cable separately for Atto 3 owners.

This was very easy to fit and even came with a trim tool. Just pop off the trim around the rear view mirror, cut back the preinstalled plug tape (carefully!) and plug it all in. Pop the cover back on and reboot head unit (remember fitting the micro SD card under the center console!). The capture quality is good, but would prefer 4k onward. I would recommend this though as very discrete and cheaper than many other dash cams, but the difference is this is fully integrated to your car. You will need a micro SD card but cheap enough via say Amazon. UK car.

Camera is of great quality and is fitting nicely to the slot given for the dashcam.
