Bought the LIN Modul. Perfect, easy to install 1 hour...amateur. BYD logo lit up :)). European model (Hungary) NOT UK!

It looks great. I did the installation with an electrician. Topbyd provided me pictures to install it. It will be useful a video just for the lin module
I ordered this Module, Fitting was easy but be careful with the clip's and fixings !
Sadly my Sealion 7 Excellence (UK) will not function, so I contacted customer service and they sent another, but sadly the same, so we have come to agreement that its something to do with the UK cars.
I have booked my car in to BYD service to look into this, I'm guessing there going to say it's not available in the UK.

I have ordered a few parts from TopBYD for the first time.
I was impressed by the process and speed. I am based in Germany and the delivery took in total 11 days, what is really great.
The module worked right away and the installation int the car was straight forward.

Install was easy, but after a few days the BYD badge LED stopped working. Had to keep removing the module just to get it working again. Tried the “switch headlights on/off twice” fix customer service suggested, but no luck. Removing the rear panel over and over is just too troublesome.
21 Sep 2024 – Update
After sending them pics and videos, the support team was nice enough to send me a replacement without asking for the old unit back. Thumbs up for that 👌. Will update again once the new unit arrives.
