Unfortunately, the wrong version was delivered. I ordered the version that lights up when the vehicle is switched on. The version delivered is the one that lights up with the headlights on.
There was also no indication on the website that the version had changed. I have the chrome emblems, and no light passes through them. I'm curious to see what support says about this. I'll report back on whether it gets resolved and, if necessary, update my review. Ersatz wurde schnell geliefert. Service und alles sehr zu empfehlen
Ordered the set which comes on with the headlight. Arrived to the UK in about a 7 working days.
No instructions included - but managed to do it without removing the bumper… need 10mm socket and a phillips screwdriver with a compact driver/ ratchet. Remove the front horns gives more room (single 10mm hold each of them)
4 screws hold it in place… i fitted 3 of them back as 1 was a little too tight to put back.
Used zip toes after to secure the harness to the headlights and wrap the excess cable.
I saw this on a forum and read various reviews saying you had to remove the bumper etc. but found another video review where the owner just removed a few screws and moved the horns out the way.Took me about 30 mins total and looks really good. Chose the always on option. Just makes it look more premium when it’s on and a simple thing to do as everything is included.
Fiddly without small hands and the right tools, but easy enough, without the need to remove the front bumper. It takes about 20-30mins to do.
Bit of a pain to fit with the bumper on but possible, but the result is great and not really noticeable during the day (I went for permanent on) and look great at night
Read the user manual and get an idea of the number of bolts and screws you need to remove.
The removal of the horn brackets is just so you have enough space to get your hands behind the front of the bonnet. Don't forget to put these back on afterwards.
No need to remove the frunk at all.
There is 1 screw on the bottom left hand side of the new part that didnt make it back in.
I used a small stubby 1/4" socket set and it worked a treat.
Great product. Changes positively the look of the car. A little tricky to fit but with the right tools can be fitted without too much drama.
Happy with the product
