Read the user manual and get an idea of the number of bolts and screws you need to remove.
The removal of the horn brackets is just so you have enough space to get your hands behind the front of the bonnet. Don't forget to put these back on afterwards.
No need to remove the frunk at all.
There is 1 screw on the bottom left hand side of the new part that didnt make it back in.
I used a small stubby 1/4" socket set and it worked a treat.
Great product. Changes positively the look of the car. A little tricky to fit but with the right tools can be fitted without too much drama.
Happy with the product
Installation was easier than expected and looks amazing. Slowly making my BYD SEAL unique and just the way I love it.
The end result is well worth the effort. Some installation instructions would have been VERY helpful.
Most buyers would not likely care to take on such a project, unless they also have confidence in their mechanical ability.
This should be standard fitting on new vehicles in Australia.
Works well, fits perfect, a little fiddly to get in but possible to install without removing the front bumper.
Good product and effective aesthetic result. The installation is not very simple but it can be done.
