good length - good result - read for easier install method

the length of the stripwas sufficient to go all around the trunk lip of my BYD Sealion 7 and it looks good!

installation is easier from the left hand side service cover - pop it open - find the LED trunk light connect the wire for the LED trunk strip, thread the wire to the back, replace the service cover, connect the LED strip

The first set of plugs didn't fit my car model, but after writing to support I got a different cable send and have finished the installation.

What a fantastic addition to my Dolphin

The LED light strip arrived within a couple of weeks and the pack contained everything I needed to fit the light strip, even the tape and wire to get the LED connector to where the power supply ends at the interior light.
Installation was simple, even for me, who is usually inept at such things. I had to cut off a short length of the LED strip to avoid an overlap, but you can cut it where you like with a pair of scissors.
It wasn't until I was doing this job that I discovered the existing interior light is in fact a halogen bulb. I was expecting an LED. So, be careful - don't touch it as it gets hot and grease from fingers can cause that bulb to blow prematurely.
Also, once I'd hooked it all up, neither the interior light, nor the new LED strip worked. The car had gone into standby. Just switch the car on again and it all comes back to life. I thought at the time that I'd blown a fuse!
The result is an impressive, bright white glow, which will help when loading the boot in the dark.

Light strip too short.

Ordered specifically for Sealion 7 and installed the light strip according to the instructions.
Even so the light strip was about 15 cm too short to make a continuous light all around the trunk opening.

Replaced light strip with new supplied by TOP BYD LTD. The supplied light strip had the correct length after I informed them of the length measured on my own vehicle.

Excellent product! Why no instructions?

A fantastic lighting solution for the Atto 3 adding a bright and even lighting to the cargo space instead of the anaemic little light included with the vehicle.
Plug and play wiring harness so there is no need to cut and splice wires.
* No instructions included in the kit * ???
TopBYD have made a very good install video which is available on YT but haven't linked to it on the store page, you will have to search for it.
One last hint that is not really explained in the video (Might only be relevant for Atto 3) You need to pry the existing light off from the edge pointing to the REAR of the car - you will just damage the bezel if you pry from top/bottom and especially from the front.
